The Byrds – Mr. Tambourine Man

The Byrds were an American rock band formed the band in 1964.

Their debute-single “Please Let Me Love You” was released in 1964 in US.

Unfortunately, it didn’t hit in US, also didn’t in UK.

The second single “Mr. Tambourine Man” was written by Bob Dylan, released in 1965.

It topped on the on the Billboard Hot 100, moreover did on the UK single chart, as well, and honored silver record from BPI.

By the way, the original Bob Dylan’s version was recorded his 5tth studio album “Bringing It All Back Home”.

The playing time of The Byrds’ single is short within 2 minutes, but Bob Dylan’s one is long over 5 minutes.
