The Alan Parsons Project – Don’t Answer Me

The Alan Parsons Project were a British rock band formed by Alan Persons who was a singer, songwriter, and studio engenier in London in 1975.

Their first single “(The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether” was released in 1976, peaked #37 on the Billboard Hot 100, but didn’t rank on the UK single chart.

Now, “Don’t Answer Me” was released in 1984, peaked #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, but reached only so far #58 on their home country UK single chart.

Japanese DJs said this song influenced Keisuke Kuwata.
