Creedence Clearwater Revival or CCR was an American rock band, formed in California in 1959.
The main member was the vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty and his brother Tom Fogerty and others.
Their debut single “Porterville” was released in 1968, but didn’t hit at all.
The second one “Suzie Q” was released in the same year, peaked #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, got their first hit single.
NOw, “Bad Moon Rising” was released in 1969, peaked #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and top 10 hits other countries, one of their signature songs.
