Huey Lewis and the News are an American rock band, formed in 1979.
Their debut-single “Exo-Disco”/”Kick Back” was released in 1972, didn’t hit at all.
Their 1980 first studio album “Huey Lewis and the News” didn’t hit as well.
Now, “Power of Love” was used 1985 an American film “Back to the Future”‘s main theme, the single was released in the same year.
It topped on the Billboard Hot 100, and honored Gold Record from RIAA and MC, Platinum from BPI. It also topped on the Australian and Canadian single charts.
