Huey Lewis and the News are an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1979.
Their debut single, “Exo-Disco,” was released in 1979, but it did not chart in major countries. Their self-titled debut album also did not achieve major success.
Their first major hit, “Do You Believe in Love,” was released in 1982 and peaked at No.7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No.9 on the UK Singles Chart.
After “The Power of Love,” they went on to release several No.1 hits.
