Scott McKenzie was an American singer & songwriter, he had started his career as a musician since 1950s.
His first single “Look in Your Eyes” was released in 1965, didn’t hit at all.
Now, “San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)” was written by John Phillips who was a member of The Mamas and The Papas, released in 1966.
It peaked #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped on the UK single chart, has become the symbol song of hippy movement.
