Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. known professionally as John Denver, was an American country and folk singer, songwriter, and actor, he had started his career as a musician since 1962.
His debut single “Daydream” was released in 1969, but didn’t hit at all.
His first hit single is “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, it was released in 1971, peaked #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #50 on the Billboard country single chart, it has become one of his signature songs.
Now, “Annie’s Song” was released in 1974, topped on the Billboard Hot 100, honored Gold Record in US and Platinum Record in UK.
