Time to Say Goodbye “Con te partirò” is an Italian song, was written by Francesco Sartori (music) and Lucio Quarantotto (lyrics).
The first version was sung by by Italian blind tenor Andrea Bocelli in 1995.
He performed it at Sanremo Music Festival in the same year, as well.
The second version is Andrea Bocelli himself duet with British soprano Sarah Brightman.
The second one’s lyrics were exchanged in English partly and was released in 1996 and sold over 12 million copies worldwide.
