Fountains of Wayne is an American rock band, formed in 1995.
Their debut single “Radiation Vibe” was released in 1995, but it didn’t rank on the Billboard Hot 100.
However, it reached #29 on the Scottish and #32 on the UK single charts.
Their first studio album “Fountains of Wayne” was released in 1996, but it didn’t hit in US, as well.
Now, “Stacy’s Mom” was relesed in 2003, peaked #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, #11 on the UK chart.
It has become their signature song.
