His first studio album “Cold Spring Harbor” was released in 1971, ranked #158 on the Billboard Album 200.
The 1971 debut single “She’s Got a Way” and the 1972 second one “Tomorrow Is Today” didn’t hit at all.
Now, the third single “Piano Man” was released in 1973, peaked #25 on the Billboard Hot 100, certified 5 times platinum by RIAA, double platinum by BPI, and Gold by BVMI.
