Their debut single is country rock tune “Take It Easy” was released in 1972, peaked #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as the same rank on the Billboard Adult comteporay chart.
The first studio album “Eagles” was relesed in 1972, reached #22 on the Billboard album chart.
Now, “Hotel California” was released in 1977, topped on the Billboard Hot 100, honored Platinum record by RIAA, 3× Platinum by BPI, and 7× Platinum by RMNZ.
It has become one of their signature songs.
